Good Habits


  • Use a soft brush and fluoride toothpaste.
  • Brush your teeth after every meal.
  • If you cannot clean immediately, rinse thoroughly with water.
  • For extra caution, rinse with an antiseptic mouthwash after brushing.
  • Focus on my danger zone! These are the spaces between the braces, the gum margin, and around the braces.
  • Reducing sugar intake is essential during orthodontic treatment, and the most harmful foods are soft and sticky sweets because they cause tooth decay. Ex: chewing gum, crispy potatoes.
  • Calendars are a delicate device that can be dropped by eating hard foods such as popcorn and nuts.
  • Avoid soft drinks and drinks that contain sugar. Whole fruits and vegetables such as apples and carrots should be cooked or cut into small pieces and eaten carefully with your back teeth.
  • Make sure to book an appointment to clean your teeth with the dentist every 4 months.
  • Do not neglect the dentist's appointments and always go to see your doctor at the appropriate time.
